Im in for the stainless.

As to pricing, we each have to judge.

I like what matt is doing - and glad to support a DWcer trying something new.

Im a gmt junkiee with watches. This one to me gives the best of both worlds that is rare - with two fully adjustable bezels - a diver and 24 hour. The only one close to this that I am aware of is the Omega Bond 2535...with dive bezel, and 24 hours on the dial - with it being fixed.

I thought with the price that what matt is adding is a nice offset: "And the GMT is backed by one of the strongest Warranties in the industry: Lifetime on the the case construction and a full 5 year Limited Warranty on the ARES ETA movement - which includes one complimentary service. "

That is not a bad thing with a service.
“To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Sandman

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong
And If I have trouble the warranty said
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On

Ares Auto GMT

Too rich for my blood right now. Maybe there will be a 3 hand, no-date automatic in the future.
This one looks great, but I don’t leave Florida often enough to need a GMT.

Florida: The majority of Florida's panhandle, including the city of Pensacola, is on Central time.

That’s basically Alabama. I don’t go there.

1 hour offset, you can probably do that math in your head too. Image

The ETA movement means the jumping hand for time zone changes is the GMT hand, rather than the hour hand - right?

Yup
That makes ETA based GMTs so much less functional.

So much agree, ETA GMT movements are a total pain

Love the design of the watch, but I thought the quartz model would be released first (that's the one I want).

These should sell fast. Congrats Matt!
