Baltic’s new Prismic

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Feb 15, 2024 12:01 pm

Guys, did you by chance see Baltic’s new Prismic?

This new watch will have a 36mm stainless steel and Grade 5 titanium
case, nice blue gray, green, purple, and salmon dials, Milanese mesh
bracelet, or leather strap, plus manual-winding ETA Peseux 7001 right
there beneath things.

That purple one on mesh would look really nice on my girlfriend's wrist.

I wish they’d just call it a ladies watch. Enough of this unisex nonsense.

Is the 36mm Explorer considered a ladies watch?

Asking for a friend.

Ummm. Nope.

And the dimensions are wearable with a 20mm lug width.

I know men who LOVE smaller watches.

My 37mm IWC wears like a dream.

The design of the Explorer is much more “manly” than this watch.

These new Baltics are very nice for anyone who's a fan of that art deco type style. 36mm is definitely on the small side, but would be a great fit for several of you smaller wristed guys.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You know what I guess really gets me with these though guys? Is the cool
funky 70’s feel they have I guess. :) ;) I think this kind of look was what
was popular in the late 60’s into early 70’s. But I was either not on the
planet yet, or never saw any watches like these.

It was mostly digital Timexes, and Casios, along with Swatches for
the most part. So these kind of funky designs are really interesting
because even though they aren’t homages, they have a feel from
a certain time. Which is very cool honestly.

It’s just fun to see them, as well as here what everyone thought.
Thanks so very much for giving your thoughts guys !!!
