Ronda quartz movement help

Post by deepcdvr » Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:55 am

Need an assist for a friend..

I sold a Bathys Benthic GMT to a Team guy several years ago and the battery finally died on it and he decided to swap it out himself.

When inserting the new battery, he pushed a little too hard, felt a light snap and witnessed a tiny piece of metal fall out of the watch. He believes he broke a soldered lead(?) - but either way the watch is not working.

Any of you here have the skills to take a look at the watch and effect repair or even swap out a movement if required? If not, any recommendations on who we can send it to? The guy loves the watch and it has performed very well over the years...

Thanks!

Send it to Duarte at milwatch@gmail.com and get a new movement installed. Best option imo.
