Lima Watch’s Meca-01

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:48 am

Hey everyone, have you by chance seen Lima Watch’s Meca-01?

Looks like it would be a fun watch to open up on Christmas morning,
or play with during Christmas week honestly. :santa:

This vintage toy, and robot themed watch has a nice 39mm stainless
steel case, K1 crystal, neat dial with unique hands, numbers, along with
accents, Seiko NH35A movement, leather strap, and that key too.

A few pics...

It's a gimmick, but will appeal to some :)

Hope the clutch works well as you could get a lot of torque on that winding mechanism with that cranks.

It's definitely different guys, and even though, it's not for everyone, it's
something that makes you smile a little. :) Or a lot even ! You know
what's neat too?! Is it's not only giving you a wind-up toy vibe, but kind
of reminds you of clocks as well, with the whole key thing. It's something
new, but actually very classic, and traditional at the same time.

Have to thank you guys for just looking, and for chiming in. Thanks so much !!!
