Brew Watch Co.'s Retromatic
Brew Watch Co.'s Retromatic
Do you guys remember Brew Watches?
Have you seen their new Retromatic by chance?
This watch has a 36mm x 39.5mm stainless steel case, 50m WR, nice
black, burgundy, green, and blue 3-tier perforated dials with sleek hands,
along with hands, and outer markings, along with stainless steel bracelets.
With the movements being Seiko's NH35 movement within the burgundy,
and green, and Sellita's SW200 powering the black, and blue it looks like.
Some pictures for you...
W&W, and Brew with much more...

I haven’t liked anything these guys have put out. I get the feeling that the measure of success they’ve had so far is built purely on relationships they had with “influencers” in the watch community.
Re: Brew Watch Co.'s Retromatic
i don't really like them, either. but i can at least appreciate why others might. as opposed to some brands who put out stuff that's just full of bad design esthetics, not personal preference issues. these aren't my style, but they're not poorly designed imo. probably more in the hipster vein.
Re: Brew Watch Co.'s Retromatic
Never heard of them.
By the looks of the front, it should be described as “square shape men’s watch”.
So dull I need to flick my balls whilst checking time to wake myself up. At least case back has a wonderful decorated movement

A better name for it than "Retromatic" would be "Metrosexual."
No, it's not Tourettes.

The owner is a nice guy. He started attending Red Bar as a young guy and I’m sure that helped him get started.matt.wu wrote:I haven’t liked anything these guys have put out. Yep, he is a really great guy. His designs aren't always for me but he puts out a nice product. These renderings/photoshop pics suck. If I know Johnathon in real life the finishing will be really nice for the price point.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 6:42 amThe owner is a nice guy. Re: Brew Watch Co.'s Retromatic
You know what I love though guys, is just the thinking outside the box by them.
It's not every day that we see watches that try to separate themselves, and the
coffee theme is just fun imho. Then at the end of the day, the watches seem to
be really well made, and thought out.
Oh, and it's cool how one second they almost look like a smart watch, and then
the next, they remind you of the neat tv cases from years ago.
One thing is for sure, it's terrific hearing, or seeing what you guys have to say !
Thanks so very very much !!!
