REC Watch's RNR Collection

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Oct 07, 2020 10:07 am

Hey everyone, have you had time to see REC Watch's new RNR R.O.C.K.
Fighter and BeachRunner?

They are part of the new RNR Collection. (Road Not Required)

The R.O.C.K.Fighter takes it's inspiration, and DNA from a 2003 custom
Land Rover Defender 110. While the Beach Runner gets inspiration from
the 1981 Land Rover Defender 110. Each having details like 40mm three
piece square case, 50M WR, sapphire crystals, tire tread circular rubber
bezels, Defender grille crown guards, cool dials with material from actual
1981 and 2003 Land Rover Defenders, and eye-catching hands, markers,
sub-dials, and accents, plus Sellita SW200 automatic, and sporty straps.

Here is a look...

Not a bad concept at all for a fun watch. Kind of like the Undone Jeep series. I’m guessing these are small l2l based on the photos.

I see the Defender as a basic, no frills, utility vehicle. This watch on the other hand has a lot of extraneous detail and baroque design going on. Not my taste, but certainly looks nicely made.

 They probably do have a real presence on the wrist Eric, and do look super
detailed Nick, you're right. But they do look really well made, along with
fun like you guys are saying. Guess they are just like these classic Land Rovers
they pay tribute to.

Thank you guys so much just for looking, but especially for your honesty !! :salute: :salute:
