I've been thinking about getting one of these. Great review here if anyone is interested:

You're not the only one thinking about it. I really like these and it's on the shortlist in first place of 4 of next watch to buy this year.
I have seen and handled one at a watch fair last year and they are fantastic. The cass size of just under 40mm is super comfortable and belies the full specs of the watch.

That's a really sharp looking watch.
Bezel insert is very narrow. It might wear larger.

Oh man, missed this Paul ! Think it is pretty outstanding, and am imagining
one on your wrist now to tell the truth.  What's so impressive is how
even though O&W have been around a long time they aren't afraid to try new
things. I mean this beauty really grabs you. It's like they took everything we
know, or like about watches, and modernized all of it in the best possible
ways.

Wow, thanks so much !!!

Uff, I like that one!

Edit: Lug to lug at 49.5mm per their website. Long for a 40mm watch.

Nice collection on offer. So many cool watches to choose from: O & W, Certina, Oris, etc.
The neo-vintages seem to be very popular.

Yes, but at least they are straight on the inside and not tapered as in the old Caribbean models.

I hope the spring bar holes are somewhat centered on those lugs and not out at the tips or else the strap gap will be awful.

This will not be a strap friendly watch.

Yup! And the only reason I decided against purchasing. The lug hole placement on the new offerings suck.

Really? I’ve read a couple reviews and none have mentioned this. Also, all the photos I’ve seen of the watch on a strap (NATO included) show the spring bar at the tips of the lugs (which are drilled).

I still like the watch. It would just be bracelet only for me, which kinda negatively impacts its design purposes as a legit dive watch as I don’t see a wetsuit extension in the clasp.

I’d pay a $150 more for the watch if O&W included a fitted rubber strap fit for wetsuit use.
