Ardor & Forge's Rothrock

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:55 am

Did anyone have time to see Pennsylvania's own Ardor & Forge's Rothrock
by chance?

These new watches have sand-cast texture 42mm stainless steel cases,
100m WR, sapphire crystals, blue, green, black, and white dials with SLV
coated hands, and markers, along with full lume white dial. On top of
that, you have leather lined canvas straps, and even oak accented crowns,
and rotors. With the Seiko NH35 automatic right beneath powering things.

Have a few pictures right below...

I'm curious how the seals will hold up with that incredibly course aluminum oxide blasting job.

I had that question also. They look rough as hell.

What a terrific point guys !! :) :)

Am wondering if maybe the seals don't actually have the same finish possibly.

Quite like the look of the sand cast cases & those dual lug holes are a good idea.

OMG, sorry but those are so butt ugly. Just because you can do something like that doesn't mean you should. Overall those look like a big fail to me. And the dial is so non-distinct.

I bet you'll see those at TJ Maxx next year for $29.99
