DuFa watches

Post by toxicavenger » Tue Oct 29, 2019 7:26 pm

I never heard of them. They were next to Damasko at Wind Up. They have 24 watches on their site. Here is 2 of them.

DuFa is a timekeeping experience that demonstrates the best traditions of the iconic Bauhaus design school underpinned by uncompromising modern standards in manufacturing. Steeped in an understated, neo-classical aesthetic, each piece embodies the movement’s philosophy.

For almost a century, DuFa horological instruments have been synonymous with German precision engineering. From its historic origin at the famed Etzold & Popitz watch and clock factory to its current incarnation as a contemporary watch brand, DuFa timepieces have been produced in the midst of Germany’s rich architectural and cultural landscape. With this heritage of sophisticated excellence and spirit of subtle yet sublime design, DuFa’s legacy lives on.

i'm not a movement snob, but if you can't even tell me who makes it, let alone what model, you're not really providing much of a "timekeeping experience."

I don’t like the name but it looks nice. I can tell by looking at the rotor and the escapement it’s definitely a Seiko/SII movement on the watch I looked at.

For as much as they taught Bauhaus, they obviously don't understand it and are just jumping on the trend.

Nothing says clean form German modernist minimalism like a rose gold watch with a giant shield on it as a logo.

Never heard of them either Terry, and the company has evidently been
around for a while too it sounds like. ..They look very nice to me to be
honest. :) Totally seeing some Junghans, and Junkers within them !

Always learning. ..Thanks again !!!
