Precista PRS-14 back on the wrist

Post by ChuckW » Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:46 pm

For the last four months, my PRS-14 was with Jack at IWW for service and the mediocre lume was also redone.

No, it's not Tourettes.

Nice. No doubt it’s good to have it back.

Good luck. They’ve been out of production for close to 10 years now.

Parts availability from Timefactors may be an issue.

If buying today, you might want to try the Helson version of this homage. Other than some sharp edges on the bezel teeth and crown, I found mine to be very well made. I think they are even having a sale going on now.

It is a great wearing design and I’ve kicked myself for not getting the Timefactors version (which, IMO, is still the best) when they were available.

The MK II version - the watch that took Yao only 8 years to deliver - is available BNIB from Topper for about $2200
