Farer's Lander Chronograph

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Apr 26, 2019 12:12 pm

Not sure if everybody has had time to see Farer's new Lander Chronograph
already.

This new watch will have details like a 39mm stainless steel case, 100
meter water resistance, a sapphire crystal, "Lander" sea green dial with
Super-Luminova coated hands, and markers. Along with eye-catching
sub-dials, Horween leather straps, and special ETA 2894-2 with turbine
rotor.

So many new watch brands since I was last posting here. A lot of cool stuff at decent prices.

I want to find something from them I like. So far their penchant for purposely using jarring contrast in colors isn’t to my taste.

It’s a beautiful watch I just can’t get with their size choices

They make some beautiful pieces with cool color schemes. But for some reason I just can't pull the trigger on them. I do not know why.

I am a big fan of that sea green/blue and absolutely love this Chrono.
I have the brown chocolate version so can’t have both but I’ll get the new Lander version and sell the brown Eldridge. As cool as the brown is, this is my color

Now I need to put the Eldridge for sale as I unexpectedly spent my watch budget yesterday :)

I love the dial color, but 39mm has proven to be too small for me.

I’m torn—I, too, have the Eldridge and I really like it. But when I initially chose it was a tossup between it and the original Lander. Decisions, decisions.

Fortunately I don’t have he man wrists, so the 39mm works well for me.

I want to like but the orange and red and the bronze(?) crown don't work for me.

100% this. They have put out some really cool looking watches, but I can't get past the crown.

It’s funny, I love the crowns on all mine and would miss it if not there. Love how it ages and darkens too

I really like the crown, but I can see how it is a polarizing feature.

I like it too. I think the unconventional color combos work well on this watch.
