Echo/Neutra's Averau Collection

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Apr 22, 2019 11:30 am

Not sure if you have had time to check out this new watch company/brand
based in Italy called Echo/Neutra. Or seen their Averau collection everyone.

Named after Mount Averau, and inspired by the Dolomites. These watches
have 42mm stainless steel, or PVD coated stainless steel cases, 100m WR,
AR coated sapphire crystals, black, sunburst blue, or sand dials with Super-
Luminova coated hands, and markers, stainless steel bracelet option, and
and nice straps, and Swiss STP 1-11, or 3-13 automatics behind exhibition
case-backs.

Some pictures guys...

Pictures show blue dial with a white date wheel and a black; prefer the look of the black.

That being said, I don't care for the hand set.

yeah, date> and the hour hand are just awful.

the name that's really two names with a slash in them is really weird. i tried looking at their site to see if they explain it and i couldn't find why that's the name.

There does seem to be a lot on the dial, and a lot going on with it
guys. Was thinking that many times companies want to put as much
on the dial as they can to make it seem more advanced, or maybe
professional.

Or even want to write things in different ways like with their name
to be different. Or add things like extra text, arrows etc. ..But can
totally understand why everyone might not like that.

It's the less is more thing right?!

Any time you put the word date on a watch with an arrow pointing to it, it’s a hot mess.
Another person making a watch from parts without an actual designer.
