H2O's Tiburon

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Apr 04, 2019 11:29 am

Not sure if everyone has seen H2O's new Tiburon already.

Looks like the new watch will have a 42mm stainless steel case with it's crown
down at the 6 o'clock position, a double domed sapphire crystal, 500m WR,
coin edge diver's bezel, black, or blue dials with five different luminous
hand set choices, and nice luminous markers. Then on top of that, you
have the ETA 2824-2 behind a solid, or sapphire case-back, along with
mesh bracelet, or leather, or NATO strap choice.

Just a few pictures...

It’s not for me, but I’m glad to see something different from Clemens.

Nice case. Something about their dials and hands always looks cheap and plasticky to me. I think it is the beveled surfaces of the chromed plastic. Would look better if more precision cut. Looks cheaply molded.

Agree. I've yet to see an H2O design that I care for. To your point, IMO the shiny, plasticky dial is at complete odds to the vintage style case. However, to each his own.

Guys, was wondering if maybe it's just the pictures that make the dials look
the way you are saying. ..You know how a lot of times the pictures are so
perfect, and clean?! Maybe the watches look different in person.

Or are a little different than the pictures show. Not sure though honestly.
