I did notice that but unsure they are the OEM manufacturer. If there were this makes me more keen to own one providing quality is still there.

Gerard, as far as contracts expiring I am not sure. (Obviously the Oris one is just a plain ripoff period) but there’s another “brand” as well, Aquatico, that is doing Prometheus Designs among others.

The reality is, there are some great factories in China where many watches are made (even the Swiss ones) and there are still a few run by people that will make any design (like what happened with SAS years ago)
without any regard. These days instead of selling the design to other brands, they just create their own brand and market at a “micro” to sell them.
