Spinnaker's Sorrento
Spinnaker's Sorrento
Did anyone have time to see Spinnaker's new Sorrento already?
The watch is named after the town of Sorrento in Italy, and is meant to remind
you of the wooden hulled speed boats seen there. With just some of the many
details including a 43mm stainless steel case, 100m WR, neat bezels inlaid with
shaped, and treated Rosewood, textured porthole-like dials in black, blue, and
brown with luminous hands, and markers, leather straps, along with Miyota 8218
movement.
Just a few pictures..

Re: Spinnaker's Sorrento
Briefly owned a Spinnaker. For the price, very good value and felt solid

Thanks Tom, that’s cool
I would rather have a center seconds hand, but nice nonetheless

Hey, thank YOU honestly !
A little different without going overboard right guys?!!
Cool how the wooden bezels actually pay tribute to those boats
like that, and team up with the dials, and everything. ..So glad
that everyone is liking them !

Re: Spinnaker's Sorrento
I have this one and admittedly won’t be for everyone, but I’m surprisingly liking it a lot. Lots of nice details but that mvt layout puts the small second in a odd position near the center that will turn some off the watch in spite of other design elements they may like.
Digging the bezel with the rosewood insert and dial texture. Good size and wears well on the wrist

Oh neat Brice, didn't realize you already had this one in your collection !
You are so right about this one, and the great details, and honestly think
the small seconds is awesome ! It adds a nice twist, and really goes with
the whole unique feel of the watch really.
Love the whole idea behind that wooden bezel, and dial set-up, and how
the entire combination works. Looks unbelievably nice from here sir !!!
Big congratulations on it by the way, and thanks so much for the review !
