I really like this and I get why people like the look of plexi so much, but I just don't want to be constantly polishing a crystal. I might really want this if they did offer a super dome sapphire.

Kind of dumb they only rated this to 100m too. 200m would seem to be a selling point and still give it a retro sounding water resistance. Knowing their other pieces it's probably actually good for 300m.

That looks nice. The ocean military 39mm I had was a nice watch for the money.

They need to do the vintage gmt on the 39mm case.

They need to make the cases with a little curve to them. They always sat to flat for me. Even the Debaufre's had this. Other than that I really like them.

Agree! I need to order my Erika’s a full 1cm longer to account for that design malarkey.

Am tempted by this one but I own the OVM39 and apart from drilled lugs they have improved nothing else here? i.e. (crown, lugs, bezel design - too smooth - cannot speak to the action but assuming same “quality”)

Agree on the 42mm case. Would also be nice on the 39mm case, but the 39mm fits fine even with the long, flat lugs:

I do agree with that. I think the really old vintage watches was the same way. I might be wrong on that though

Bezel pip is dreadfully oversized. Swing, and a miss.

I think it's hot. Not for me, though, without a date :(

Is it me or does something look a bit odd about the overall proportions of this watch? I think maybe it's that the dial looks too small relative to the beefy case/bezel. And yeah, that bezel pearl reminds me that I'd like some eggs sunny side up.

Maybe the domed crystal is making it look smaller than it really is. I mean it isn't Doxa 300 small that is for sure.
