Elliot Brown's Holton watches

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:34 am

Hey everybody, did you have a chance to see these new Elliot Brown watches?

Their Holton is actually the first military watch from a British company
in ten years, commissioned by the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense.
A watch that will be built to survive the most hostile conditions.

With details like highly shock resistant hardened, bead blasted 43mm
stainless steel cases with a PVD coating, 200M WR, AR coated sapphire,
crystals, high grip 120 click bezels, black, green, blue, and gray dials with
C3 Super-Luminova coated hands, and markers, NATO, or rubber straps.
Along with long life battery Swiss Ronda quartz movements also.

Seems like you have both the regular black, and green dial Holton Professional
models, but then limited edition models with blue/teal, or gray dials for Page &
Cooper L.E.'s as well.

Some pictures guys...

I really like it. If I hadn’t already jumped on an Ares I would be giving this a serious look.

I wonder if CWC knows that this company is claiming to be commissioned by the UK?

These guys are really good dudes and I doubt they would ever pull a stunt like that just to sell a watch. That said, I’m not really surprised by anything these days.

Does CWC claim to be the only UK commissioned watch provider? I didn't find anything to that effect in the CWC history on their site.

Did find this. Oh the horror. Using the term that other guys owns.....

"Today, CWC continues to supply watches and straps to the military such as the "CWC Strap Watch Wrist Nylon" (the official term for NATO strap)."

Hey wow, just seeing that the two limited edition didn't have date windows
there Don. ..Somehow missed that before, but it really does make the
watches that much cleaner looking, and refined. Thanks for pointing that
out like that !

Think these look great honestly, and am wondering if down the road they
might even add automatic versions to the collection maybe guys. :)
