I think they’re doing the Jordan shoes formula but scaled down to their market. Somehow the previous automatic hold their value while looking like nicer Parnis watches.

I’d love to try one of the 3 handers one day to understand better but I can’t justify the price tag versus eye candy.

What sort of movement spacer are they using?

JK.

Unimatic U3 chrono

The case is very cool if not a little large, (why did it need to be bigger?) but I am really disappointed that they did this derivative dial. Like c’mon ...how about something new? Did they just buy a batch of 5000 of those darn hands???

I see the dial text says Chronodiver which... yeah... there’s nothing “diver” about this other than the WR.

(...and is it OK to operate those pushers under water?)

Final remark, it is too hairy at the dial edge... why do we need a billion hash marks? I do see that the minute hashes are slightly bolder but still don’t like it...

Yeah sorry I am relatively new to DWC having fortunately found it via Tapatalk and only really follow the Micro Brands sub-forum. I’m active on some other forums you would be familiar with.

Anyway, I had been following the IG build up on this one... and had high hopes, only to have them dashed. I really do not like their ladder hands and push-pin seconds hand in general. My current favourite Unimatic designs are the U1-E and U1-EM...

Why do you think they went so (relatively) large here? Did the Mecha-quartz movement require it? Did they need more room for pushers around the crown?

I like them....use to have one of the non-chronos, not bad.

They should have put in a clean chapter ring and minute markers on the dial. Then I would have liked it more. But at around $700 I don't like it.
