Huh. I had no idea Manchester Watch Works was the same as Silver Watch Co.

I found it funny that Silver called out Ginault (from what I saw on WUS) for not being an accurate enough replication of the 5 digit Sub case.

The world always needs another Rolex/Tudor homage.

Or not.

Crazy. I meet someone at WInd Up that measure the Ginault down the every last millimeter and is the same as the Rolex.

Yep, absolutely nuts.

I also see the irony between the majority of us who look upon these "homages" with some disdain due to their lack of original design, versus the other side of the coin where people look down upon the "homage" because the replication is not quite exact enough to the authentic piece.

This is the Instragram post where Silver calls out Ginault (the flower logo embossed crown is the Ginault - top photo): https://www.instagram.com/p/BosQ-k2nEqx/

That’s because they’re probably sold out the back door to the counterfeiters as well

Probably. The person that was doing the measurement needed a watch case to get custom straps to fit the Rolex case perfectly. The used the Ginault for this task since it was exact.

Even the brand name isn't original...

Rumor has it they might be closing up. I think MWW is no longer working with them.
