Aquacy's 1769 Diver

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Sep 11, 2018 10:29 am

You may have already seen the 1769 Diver from Aquacy everybody. But
in case you haven't, have some info here.

The watch is named for the year James Cook arrived on the shores of New
Zealand on the Endeavour, and forging a friendship with the Maori People
of New Zealand. With details like a 41mm stainless steel case, 300m WR,
sapphire crystal, scratch resistant unidirectional ceramic bezel, multiple
dial options with BGW9 Super-Luminova coated hands, and markers,
Miyota 9015 automatic, stainless steel bracelet, and nice straps too.

Here is a look

I guess AquaSea wasn’t good enough, so Aquacy?

My upcoming microbrand is going to have a Nautical and Sea theme so I've decided to call it NauSea.

Looks like adequacy. Shame yellow dial version doesn't look all that bad. Terrible name, terrible script text. Keep em coming micro brands, if you pass the DWC scientific test of more that 2 comments before being offered up, you stand a chance.

The first model will be designed for those who retrieve golf balls from deep lakes. It’s called SeaMen Balls Deep.

Anyway, apart from muff diving, was anyone actually diving in 1769?

I doubt it. That will be the next model of this very exclusive brand:
