I like it.

And I won't have to wait 10 years for it.

It sounds like a dresser from Ikea. Do I have to put it together?

You do. Everyone else's will come pre-assembled.

Add a bracelet (H link..?) + $100 and now you have something truly unique.

I like it regardless

Making some tweaks to the design. Flat indices and considering bead blasted finish.

Thoughts?

Does the world really need another Benrus Type 1 homage?
Probably not, but is anyone else currently producing one besides Yao? I certainly won't give that guy my money.

I don't think Jake has made those in quite a while. I'm sure you could find one on the secondary market though.

Most likely because the Dagaz version is an actual delivered watch and the MK2 version exists only as a paypal confirmation.

I haven’t decided on which way I’m going on this yet. Option 2 is very appealing.

One design spec of this watch I want to nail is the drilled lug position. Once I get the first prototype, I plan on getting some input from a few of you by sending the piece around so people can handle it and try different straps and send me their ideal lug hole position measurements. I will take those into account with mine and ensure the holes are in the proper position for most straps people would wear the watch on.

I like it. Will there be a no date version? And is bezel aluminum or acrylic?

Yes, no date versions as well. The insert is aluminum.

These are very nice.
Part of me does want something on the dial even though most here probably disagree and like it bare bone as it is. :)
