Stoic Watches

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Jun 18, 2018 10:14 am

Has everyone had a look at this new watch company, or brand from Peter
Speake-Marin called Stoic, or Stoic World by chance?

Seems like there are three watches in the works which include The Pilot's
Watch #1, The Chronograph #1, and the Sports Watch #1. All with
stainless steel cases, AR coated sapphire crystals, and 100M WR.

Up first, the Pilot's Watch will have a 38mm case, black sunray dial,
leather strap, along with decorated Seiko NH35 automatic movement.
Then the Chronograph a 38mm case, PVD bezel, white dial with black sub-
dials, stainless steel bracelet, and Hattori VD53 quartz, and third, the
Sports Watch which will have a 43.5mm case, black, gold, and white
dials, and bezels, leather straps, and decorated NH37 automatic.

Here is a look...

That "Nothing is Ours Except Time" statement could apply to any number of micro homage manufacturers... As in "we don't own the designs, we don't own the manufacturing, we don't own the distribution... all we own is a web address... and time"

They look like even cheaper Spinnaker watches. Huge pass.
