Filson Dutch Harbor 300m

Post by DEMO » Tue May 29, 2018 8:05 am

I picked up one of these a couple weeks ago and I find myself strapping it on quite frequently. I was looking for a grab-n-go quartz diver and came across the Dutch Harbor. I made an offer on ebay and got it for an incredible price. These things were originally selling for $950..... I paid $300.

The Dutch Harbor was built by Shinola Watch Co for Filson. I've never paid much attention to any of their watches before. When I purchased this one I was expecting your average microbrand build quality. Not even close!!!! I was completely surprised by the fine details to finishing. Finishing quality is in "Omega" territory on this one.... really, no exaggeration.

Specs:
• 300m water resistant
• Movement: Argonite 715 quartz
• 43mm case diameter, approx 14mm thick with domed crystal
• 22mm lugs
• Very precise 120 click rotating bezel
• Fold over deployant clasp with hidden ratchet adjustment
• C3 Superluminova on hands, hour markers and bezel
• Domed sapphire crystal with purple AR coated interior
• Date at 6:00

Here's a few cell phone pics......

I saw that one at Winners (discount dept. store) and I think it was $350. It's the only Filson that I have seen, that doesn't have that stupid date wheel...

Nice!!

Saw this one too: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FILSON-Dutch-H ... SwWLBaMT0U
