Christopher Ward's C60 Trident 316L L.E. Yellow

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Apr 23, 2018 10:40 am

Has anyone checked out this new Christopher Ward by chance?

It's the C60 Trident 316L Limited Edition Yellow which has a 43mm stainless
steel case, 600M WR, AR coated sapphire crystal, unidirectional steel bezel,
matte finish dial with it's hands, and markers coated with Super Luminova,
bracelet, rubber, leather, or NATO strap, and Sellita SW200-1 behind nice
stamped case-back.

Here is a look...

The watch itself looks good to me but man does that lack of logo and font cheapen the look

The watch looks good..... But that photography is excellent! I don't know who shot it for them but they did a fantastic job with the photos.

Agreed on the photos.

I like it. The Doxa Poseidon is going to take the yellow spot in the box tho.

Never really noticed the font, but am seeing it now you guys !

Alwayshave liked the Tridents, and this yellow makes the watch that
much more eye-catching imho. :o Looks like a neat yellow too that is
just bright enough, and subtle at the same time.

Oh yeah, and you guys are right about the pictures ! You can see
every detail within the terrific dial, and case. Even the straps look
amazing ! ..So happy you guys liked it !

i've softened on the logo font. it doesn't really bother me.

but the left-justified/9pm location leaves a void under the 12 that just can't be unseen. they're trying too hard to be hipster. which is too bad, because the rest of the watch looks great.

that's a great question. they've been under fire on the cw forums ever since i first logged in there in 2012 about their crappy photography. people used to wait to see owners' photos to decide whether they liked a new model because you just didn't get good photos from CW. nice to see them finally up their game there.

That’s a great yellow.
