Triwa's Skultuna III
Triwa's Skultuna III
Has anyone had time to see Triwa's new Skultuna III yet?
Evidently the watch gets it's name thanks to a collaboration between Triwa,
and Sweden's Skultuna Brass Foundry. Who have been around since 1607 guys.
With just a few details about the watch including a 38mm brushed, and polished
bronze case, 50M WR, navy blue dial with nice hands, markers, and markings,
tanned leather strap, and Miyota 9015 automatic movement also.
Some pictures for you...
Wrist Watch Review's, and Triwa's links also everybody...

Re: Triwa's Skultuna III
what the fuck is with these stupid names for watches.....Sorry Tom... SKULTUNA? Thats the best they could come up with? It seems that small indy watch companies have given up. First Bagelsport and now Skultuna....
Re: Triwa's Skultuna III
Skull tuna? Nope it's neither. I expected something Invicta esque . I agree, Eric, the weird name thing has gone too far.

Skull dog shit of a name.
Re: Triwa's Skultuna III
I don't know why they come up with these weird names that have nothing to do with where all of these micros come from.
Re: Triwa's Skultuna III
Not for me I'm afraid. The strap does not have enough holes and I like the last hole no farther than 1/4 inch from the tip anyway
Re: Triwa's Skultuna III
Probably a local geographical name or the like. Tom stated in the OP that it’s a collaboration with a local brass foundry of that name. I’m assuming that it just reads in English as a coincidental portmanteau of skull + tuna.

Who cares? The name still sucks and it was someone's choice to use it.
