Peren Watch's Nera

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Feb 05, 2018 11:43 am

Not sure if you guys had a chance to see Peren Watch's Nera already.

The Romanian brand's new watch gets it's inspiration from the Devil's
Lake at the Nera Gorges in Transylvania. With specifications that include
a three tone 39mm stainless steel case, 200m WR, scratch resistant domed
sapphire crystal, unidirectional black PVD bezel, black metal dial with BGW9
Super-Luminova hands, and markers, nato, and leather straps, ETA 2824-2,
and more everyone.

Here is a look...

Sort of reminds me of a UTS without the nutty lugs.

I'll give it a pretty good. It sure beats those brands that rip off old designs.

Those hour markers and hands are begging for tritium tubes rather than superluminova. Then it might have something a bit more to offer in between Luminox and Ball but in true diver form with automatic.

Still like said previously, not terrible.

Agreed, seen much worse. I might have left 'Transylvania' off the dial. Not exactly a selling feature :)

Lol

I wish the “12” was different than the others but I dig the length of the hands. Pretty dial too.

Dracula’s Watch?

I actually kinda like it. Just seems a little long.

Just having Transylvania on the dial is worth getting! I actually quite like this one. Clean dial, good case shape and sterile bezel suits it.

The lugs look pretty straight out which isn't going to help wear-ability.

$448 is a decent price for the spec's, but I'm not going to buy a kickstarter watch.

I would have bought one but for the long lugs.
