The Seiko attraction has sort of died for me but I admit this particular one is superb. But seems like again many have suffered from imperfections. Someone on IG received theirs with case marks toodukerules wrote:All valid points, especially on the movement. I'm a huge fan of 2824s and 2893s. This is actually my first 6r15, and we shall see how good it is. I guess I'm just a big Seiko nerd/fanboy, so I overlook some of their quirks and QC issues like I wouldn't with some other brands.Jeep99dad wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:42 amI personally prefer the Seaforth, not sure why but didn’t bond with the Seiko. Looks great but...dukerules wrote:The watches are nice, but really? For nearly the same money, those Seiko SPBs look pretty fantastic to me. Granted, you can't get them in those crazy cool dial colors.
also always worrying about some issues with them is a big turn off for me with Seiko.
I’d also take an ETA2824 over the 6R15 any day.
But the Creation price was super low. I think the cheapest I’ve seen them new was about 700$ at Gnomon

I think I'll try and pick up a pastel blue to try out. Which bezel is most desirable? Fixed, dive, or 12hr?

fwiw, i think i saw more people clamoring for the 12hr, especially on the pastel. but that's just my perception.
Re: Seaforth preorders tomorrow 1/18
I actually like the look of the 12hr best followed by fixed bezel.

I tried the Pastel with dive bezel and Gilt with fixed. I liked the fixed better. Pastel with fixed may be the nicest combination.

Did you also order the bracelet? I may be interested if you're selling.Jeep99dad wrote:It’ll be up for sale soon I thinkdukerules wrote:Brice, did you sell your blue SPB?

I'm guessing it is not working due to the load...
Re: Seaforth preorders tomorrow 1/18
Yep. Down most likely due to the load.

I love all the guys saying “put me down for a blue one with 12 hour bezel”.
Now I know what to order to maximize profits.

This is sad to see some of the people comments but I had a feeling this was gonna happen. Jason really needs to rethink his ordering process

Still can’t decide between blue or yellow dive bezel?
