Just got this one from a guy called Dan Hodge who is a watchmaker/watchservicer who lives about 1 hour drive from me. He has a website we’re he does reviews, blogs and runs his business from
https://28daysearlier.com/
The watch was built with a NOS AS Schild 1986 movement, these movements were produced in the 60,s and the company was swallowed up by ETA in 1978
This watch is 1 of 3 he has built with this movement, although it can be built with an ETA 2824-2 also
Movement was stripped and rebuilt
It comes on a bare 3,6,9 Submariner style dial that has his signature below the 12 o’clock position with cathedral style hands which have been relumed
Watch is 316L Steel
43mm including crown
20mm Lug Width
48mm Lug to Lug
Sapphire Crystal
100M water resistant
Comes on a leather strap and in a pretty cool leather case which you can fit a couple of watches in. All in all I’m really impressed with it Dan’s a really nice guy who you can tell is really passionate about watches when you talk to him.
