Here is the latest render using a new hand style. I think this set suits the watch better?
Prototype is almost ready.

Hopefully you price this well. There's stiff competition with the new Hammy coming in under $500 with full warranty.

Agreed - the fine black points on the ends of the new hands disappear on the dial and make the hands look short. The ones in the video are a bit wider and longer and look much better IMHO.

Not sure why you changed the hands?

I may try these with white tipped hands which should extend the look a bit. I will post when I have another render.

Appreciate your opinion but those hands are for my new dive watch, the Midnattssol. The Artillerist is a Field Watch and I was going for more of a utilitarian hand set style that matched the watch genre.

If you’re asking for our collective help in designing the watches from the start, then changing them from that feedback, there isn’t much point in sharing each latest rendering.

Design what you like, then release the final version with a heads up so we are aware.

These hands look like crap. They appear smaller and disproportionate to the dial because of design and black border. It’s your watch and your company, I just no longer understand the separate rendering threads over and over. At this point I’m long since over the watch and frankly annoyed by it all.

Ed, This is a forum for Micro watches. I am simply evaluating hand set styles and trying to suit the watch with the best option as I wasn't sure the original style was it and asked for an opinion here as I really value the members input here and know I will get the straight truth.

No problem. You know I started as a fan and I think a significant contributor (enabler?) as you’ve called on me directly several times. It’s not personal, but you know we speak our mind around here.

If I, as a fan and a friend, am telling you this publicly, you can be damned sure others around here are thinking it too. Go ahead and take that tone with me, but ficro forum or not, it’s annoying.

Appreciate the honesty, Ed. It's all good. Just figured if it annoyed you, probably best to just ignore as it's not my intention to annoy anyone. Just trying to manufacture a decent looking watch that others like, not just what I like.

You had a decent looking watch. Now it is somewhat less than decent looking.

Thank you for the input. Original Sinn type hands seem to be the overwhelming choice.
