Spinnaker Watch's Fleuss Automatic

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Oct 23, 2017 9:58 am

Not sure if you guys already caught this new model from Spinnaker.

Just am seeing their Fleuss Automatic. A watch that pays tribute to Henry
Fleuss, the inventor of the very first self contained underwater breathing
apparatus, or Scuba back in 1878.

Looks like the new watch has a 43mm stainless steel case, 150M WR, domed
scratch resistant sapphire crystal, acrylic bezel with luminous, textured black,
gray, green, and blue dials with luminous hands, and also markers, Seiko TMI
NH35 automatic movement, leather strap, and more everybody.

Have a look...

I kind of like the green. The blue isn't bad either. Tudor should take note.

I regularly use my dive watches as redundant timers when diving, so there are a few conditions that are essential IMO. An offset or protected crown, a properly indexed working bezel, a screw-down caseback.

It's amazing the number of micro offerings that fail on those basic things.

I agree with Rob, the green is kinda cool! For $285...
