Have all of you guys had time to check out this new watch from a company
called Origin Watch Company?

It's their new Vintage Field with 42mm stainless steel case, 100 meter water
resistance, domed AR coated sappire crystal, black dials with neat sub-dials,
classic hands, and numbers with luminescence, and Sea-Gull ST3600 which
is based on the ETA 6497. With a nice calf leather strap rounding things out.

Just a few pictures...

Looks like a Weiss and that's not a bad thing

I like the price more than Weiss's, but I'm not sure about the movement.

I tried this comment earlier but it dissapeared...lets try again

This watch is really appealing and i think it's a shame they will launch on KS. A shame because this is a watch that would do really well in the enthusiast community based on the movement, looks, and USA made/assembled niche. KS appeals to a wider yet less sophisticated buyer who really may not be able to decipher why they should spend their $500 here instead of some $199 mushroom brand dive watch or a couple of $149 minimalist hipster watches.

I don't do preorders or i would own this already. But I've been looking for a handwound field/military style watch that doesn't resemble a Hamilton khaki field style.

I hope they do well.

I had the prototype for a couple of weeks last month and really liked it. The mvt ran well and winding was smooth. The dial font and layout is obviously similar to the Weiss... pocket Watch based field Watch style with hand cranker mvt
However the case is very different, profile and lugs ...
I owned the Weiss and like it. I thought the case finish wasn’t that of a 1k Watch though
Btw it wore well on my 7” wrist and rocked on canvas

I liked it when I saw Brice's prototype. Liked it better than Weiss
