Thanks. He is producing a traditional dive bezel for this model as well. Orders open for it.watches503 wrote:It's really beautiful, Brice !Jeep99dad wrote:MWW Beluga

I quite like this bezel but I still can't cross the 40mm line. Maybe next yearJeep99dad wrote:Thanks. He is producing a traditional dive bezel for this model as well. Orders open for it.watches503 wrote:It's really beautiful, Brice !Jeep99dad wrote:MWW Beluga

Re: What Microbrand are you wearing today ?
All you guys starting your own microbrands, have you actually spent any time looking at what existing brands actually do and how they're run, or did you just wake up one day and say, "Eff it, I'm going to start a watch company today"?
In case it helps - getting a watch produced is the EASY part of this. If you can wire funds overseas, you can get a watch made. It's all the other stuff that's harder to do - design, marketing, pricing, project management, customer support, QC, delivery, communication - that's where you make your money, and what separates a "microbrand" from "just another guy making a watch".
I know, I'm a jerk for saying this, but...if you think this business is as easy as getting the lowest-cost vendor to make you a "me-too" design, and spamming this page with links to your Kickstarter project, you could be in for a rude awakening, and maybe I'm helping you by giving you a heads up about it before you join that particular club.
**** just posted on FB in Microbrand group.

Chris is right. Most of these guys have no clue what they are doing.

Maybe. But he gets pissed every time he makes one of his long “insightful” posts and someone disagrees with him.CGSshorty wrote:Chris is right. Most of these guys have no clue what they are doing.
What he is saying applies to many businesses. Does he want a pat on the back? It seems that way.

Cool. This one is like an older Tag or Heuer model that's gone on steroids. It's beefier and those lume plots mean business.watches503 wrote:

Thanks a lot ! I had orange hand but never had a blue hand like this one. It's a homage of a Nauticfish but with stronger lume, different dial and bracelet.HapaHapa wrote:Cool. That guy is full of himself. It seems like he post his long drawn out rants to hear himself speak. Instead he just annoys people to the point that they ignore his post. This isn't to say some of his comments aren't legit, but now it is so tough to even read his post I don't even try anymore.r.palace wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 7:14 pmjustsellbrgs wrote:Maybe. I get his point, or points, but why the excessive number of long winded explanations? He doesn;t get it, but after you reply so many times and come across as abrasive people will be turned off to your brand.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 8:43 pmThat guy is full of himself. I'm sure he doesn;t care, but it's idiotic. If I meet 100 people I want to sell every of of them. If I represent myself well they may not all buy, but those 100 might tell 2-3 more each.
Why meet 100, or more.... piss 30 off, and sell to maybe 25 ??

I learned to ignore him for the most part. Every once in awhile I’ll see someone post something that I know will induce a rant by him and I’ll tag him just for the fun of it.
He’s probably not a bad dude and from what I can tell has pretty loyal customers so he did something right. What I do laugh about is when he says how much time the business takes and he can’t answer all emails and this and that but if you look at groups and forums he spends half the day writing novels in posts or replies...

He's made the original post --- and replied 32 times to various people.
A few other micro owners have chimed in as well, including Eddie Platts....
Don, I'm sure you can point out if any in that thread have brand affiliation.

You mean as far as who is a brand owner and such? There’s a few I know of but most I have no idea. So many new brands or out of nowhere startups these days I lose track.justsellbrgs wrote:He's made the original post --- and replied 32 times to various people.
