With a name like that I thought I'd hate it. It seems pretty ok. If it were $300 I still wouldn't buy it, but I'd understand why someone else might want to.
Re: Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
awful name.......not a bad looking watch i guess.

In defense of the name he named it after his sons charitable website for saving animals going extinct. A portion of the sales go to the site.

Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
Love the looks and it's an nice case -
Same as my MWW 62Mas homage. The blue is hot too, and date at 6 is the best date option imo. Pricing is good too at only $310
Forgot the story bejng the name. I don't like or dislike it but don't mind since it is not on the dial.

Re: Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
His son started a charity for the blobfish and this watch is meant to support that endeavor....i think his son is 11 or 12.
The watch takes its inspiration from the old Seiko SUS models

Whatever you think of the watch, this is an overall "cool dad thing" to do for a son!

it's an ok, watch. the name is lame, but i get the story behind it. and since it's not on the dial, it's not that big of a deal.
Re: Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
From the thread title I thought I was going to say how stupid this watch is... but I actually like it.

Exact same case as his recent 62Mas homage. Nice watch I think.

Re: Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
Kinda reminds me of the Seiko SUS. I think I would actually like it better if the hands were like the SUS too.
Re: Manchester Watch Works' Blobfish
Not something I'd buy but it looks really nicely made. Nice bezel and bracelet choice.
