I'm pretty used to noisy rotors, as most of the modern watches with ceramic bearings make the same loud noise.

for a $500 micro with ETA it's a damned good value proposition, and great looking to boot Image

I'm done with funky Miyota micros... the Seaforth cemented that for me :gayumbrella:
Why did you hate the seaforth so much. I thought it was an ok value at $700 due to the original design and nice case chamfers. Resale prices are silly.

I didn't hate it, but first complaint was the Miyota movement... guess I don't have much experience with them, but the spinning rotor sounded like a cheap toy and drove me nuts, no more Miyotas for me... second, the steel bezel was very sharp along the edges... other than that a nice overall design and execution, but it didn't feel like a $700 watch to me, and the resale prices are insane... the Evant is a better watch for the $$ imho
Maybe I'm the only one that thinks the evant is just not an atttactive watch. Value for $ may be there but i cant see the attraction to actually own one.

Agreed. Way too slab sided. Needs a thinner profile to go with the thin bezel.
