Can't pry this one off my wrist
Re: Can't pry this one off my wrist
I'm pretty used to noisy rotors, as most of the modern watches with ceramic bearings make the same loud noise.

Maybe I'm the only one that thinks the evant is just not an atttactive watch. Value for $ may be there but i cant see the attraction to actually own one.gr8sw wrote:I didn't hate it, but first complaint was the Miyota movement... guess I don't have much experience with them, but the spinning rotor sounded like a cheap toy and drove me nuts, no more Miyotas for me... second, the steel bezel was very sharp along the edges... other than that a nice overall design and execution, but it didn't feel like a $700 watch to me, and the resale prices are insane... the Evant is a better watch for the $$ imhostreetracer101 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2017 5:27 pmWhy did you hate the seaforth so much. I thought it was an ok value at $700 due to the original design and nice case chamfers. Resale prices are silly.gr8sw wrote:I know, it's easy to pick things apart... the watch is not perfect, but nothing is... let us enjoy it
for a $500 micro with ETA it's a damned good value proposition, and great looking to boot
I'm done with funky Miyota micros... the Seaforth cemented that for me
