Do you guys remember talking about Martenero Watches a while ago by chance?
Just seeing this new nautical themed model named the Edgemere over at A Blog
To Watch today in a giveaway they are having, and then decided to learn more
about it.
The Edgemere has a brushed, and polished 40mm stainless steel case, straight lugs,
AR coated domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, eye-catching textured dials in
white with blue, blue, white with red, and silver with nice hands, sub-dial, raised
hour ring, and Miyota 8245 with 40 hr. power reserve. Add to that an etched nautical
compass case-back, and genuine leather straps. With everything assembled, tested,
and then regulated right in New York everyone.
Just a few pictures...
Martenero Watches with much more also...

Martenero's Edgemere
I like a few of those and like the case work from a profile view.
It's cool.
However for a nautical piece I wish they'd gone for 100m WR +.
Assume the mvt doesn't hack being a 82-- series ?
Thinking 350$ would be a better price point

Case back compass design is really nice. It's going to wear a lot bigger than 40mm being all dial and also those prominent lugs. Overall it has a pleasing look.
