Helson 42mm Shark Diver

Post by DEMO » Fri Jul 14, 2017 6:31 am

Just picked up the 42mm SS version of the Shark Diver on the bracelet. Really love this watch..... a lot more than I expected I would. I had the 45mm version when Helson first started business (their first release). That watch wore huge with it's straight lugs. This 42mm size version is perfect. Highly legible dial and incredible lume, nice machining, nice quality bracelet. I'm a happy camper with this one.

Joe lent me his 40mm Shark Diver back when and I really enjoyed wearing it. Lume was fantastic and nothing about the watch felt cheap. For the price, it was a very fun watch

well, that and the skill part. ;)

people do that all the time. a great photographer can take great photos even w/o having fabulous gear. it's more about the user than the camera. the gear just makes it easier sometimes.

i point it out because it can be unintentionally insulting to tell a photographer that his gear is what makes him good. like telling a guitar player his guitar and amp are why he sounds great. 99.9% of the time, no insult is intended, but...

He'd get similar photos with a consumer d3200.
It's mostly skill, knowledge then a bit of equipment.

The bracelet looks like it would survive a nuclear blast.
