Seaforth Preorders Tomorrow

Post by gwells » Mon Jun 26, 2017 1:31 pm

halioswatches: Back in Vancouver after an inspiring jaunt to Geneva. I'm estimating that the Seaforths should be in my greasy fondue-caked hands in a few weeks, so I'll be opening the first batch of pre-orders tomorrow (Tuesday morning PDT). They should ship out a couple of weeks or so after that, and then the second round of orders will be opened up. I test and QC every single watch that goes out, so this multi-stage process is necessary so you're not waiting too long for your watch after you've placed your order. Have a gonzo week!

Has a similar vibe as the Oris Divers Sixty Five. Both nice watches, Jason did a great job on this.

i agree. it's in the "skin diver" family, imo. like a mildly scaled up 60s vintage dive watch.

I know there is a mega thread on these already, but I am late to the party. How limited are these going to be? The tempt is strong.

And dammit I keep swearing off micros, but...

I really want one. Not sure how often I'd wear it, though.

i don't think jason has given a number. he did say he was going to release in batches so people weren't waiting too long for him to ship out after ordering. so if you don't get one in the first wave, there will be more.

I don't know why but I really like the pastel blue. Hell the sunburst blue looks amazing also.

the pastel blue is cool and fairly unique, don't see that very much and it's really nicely executed. but i'm going to go with the sunburst blue.

Just think of all the minimal stitch straps you can make for it.

Size worries me though, Oris 65 in 42 was borderline small, I'll have to wait for some wrist shots of large wrists

This is actually good for me since I want a NATO watch. Most of my other watches wear really large.
