Why does a yellow watch need a date window?

Been waiting for the date version. I will pay $700 but not more.

Just my luck, the Version 2.0 will have an ugly date opening. Bummer.

I was really hoping for a fixed bezel white dial no date.

Yellow can look great, but not sure about Yellow on the Seaforth
