Watch is a complete snoozer to me like most other micros. The brand guy went from zero to highly offended a bit too quick IMO.

Nope. Cheap finishing and a $500 price tag because it has a "Swiss" movement. Also, let's give $500 upfront to an absolute unknown in hopes thx watch will get produced...NO

I like its proportions. Bezel width and numeral type seem well balanced to the dial and case. I can't comment on finishing from these photos. But it's a $500 micro so can't expect much.

Looks like a cross of older Omegas with newer (mostly Planet Ocean) parts/design. Not bad overall, but at 44mm will be huge on most wrist. Might be worth a try a $250, but not for me at $500.

Too big and those bezel numbers are just slapped on - no effort to make them "hug" the curve. Looks sloppy.

El Paso.

I believe I could produce a very solid watch for $500. Keep an eye out. ;)

I agree, I realize is it a cheap micro, but the brushing on the edges is terrible. The design makes me with Omega would make an updated 2254.

There are a lot of good watches out there under $500. Scurfa comes to mind and the new Mileata quartz (when it hits).

It reminds me of a Borealis, to be honest. There is nothing that jumps out at me that says "buy me", but I am sure that they will sell a bunch.

It's getting pretty bad when all the time now I find the threads about new microbrand releases more interesting than the watches themselves.

If I were looking in the $500 range I'd skip the micros and buy this in a heartbeat:

it's not surprising how many of these micros miss the little things like this. it's the kind of thing that's an "enthusiast" may easily miss and a "designer" would notice and fix immediately. typography is both an art and a skill that most don't possess.

IMO, there are two types of Microbrand watch companies:

1. Microbrands that design, develop, implement and bring to market watches that are somewhat unique while spending thousands of hours over years to complete their projects. Often times these projects include roller coaster rides full of stress, tension and personal and financial sacrifices along the journey to and through the finish line.

2. "Microbrands" that select a watch from the NOOB factory or alike catalog, come up with a "company" name and stick that name on the dial of the watch.
