I wonder what a Rolex green Milgauss crystal would look like in this watch.

In December 2016, my wife asked to leave. I felt similar to that that damn Rolex.

Excellent. Does it snap on like a Seiko bezel?

Can your watch guy source the movement parts? I'm guessing that it is a 3130, but I'm no Rolex movement expert.

Also - is the crystal gone and those are gouges I see on the dial or is the crystal still intact and those scares are only to the sapphire?

If the dial is FUBAR, do you have a dial guy who can save it or is it safer to just wear as is?

Yes he can. It is a 3131 movement. I think Wu told me it is the same as the 3130 without a date feature. So not a big deal. The biggest thing is we have to make sure some of the screws that fell out of the movement didn't strip out of the main plate.

Crystal and hands are gone. I will have a hard time finding the green second hand. So I might have to buy that from Rolex or go another route. The dial might work out and I can leave it as is. But I know a guy in Denver who makes custom dials, so I can go that route if need be. The stock dial is a ugly dial even when in perfect shape.

I just paid for all the parts for the movement to get it back to operating status. My cost is right at $1k. I have to do an aftermarket crystal for it. The lowest I found on a factory Milguass crystal is $540. So I will pass on that for now. Time to find some hands for it.

Atta boy, T!
Now get a nice Crystal Times sapphire and slap some hands on it. Forget refinishing the bracelet, that watch is a walking billboard for ToxicNATOs. :salute:
Once you've gotten some good PR, part out that sucker before it swallows you whole.

Availability. The normal price is $980 for a Milguass. I haven't found a Airking sapphire yet.
