I don't know how fast I will completely get this watch fixed. But it is at my watchmakers right now trying to get it going.

Jesus, how could you have possibly missed that thread? This is Terry's clean thread on this rebuild so don't take a shit in it and dredge up the idiot that got this whole thing started. M'kay? M'kay. Carry on now.

I'm sure the hospital had free wifi. Silly you indeed. (Seriously hope all is well. If you're referencing your baby girl's birth, congratulations!)

huh, I started with you guys in "that thread" but didn't finish so didn't know Terry ended up with it.
When threads start devolve and disintegrate I just leave them alone....unless they end up with TnA, then I'm back in!

Hope it works out!

He wasn't in the hospital for the birth, he finally started the changeover! I think D's were too big for his frame, but they're not my boobies.

That's awesome Terry that you were able to get the watch from the guy !!

Hope you didn't pay much for it. Guy should have just donated it since he got donations to foot his foolishness.

Cannot wait to see the journey of recovery for this!! It's gonna be the talk of all forums

I got it for $600. It took some patience to say the least.

It's cool that you got it Terry! You should post a YouTube video, asking for donations towards the restoration...lol. I look forward to seeing the finished project!!!

...also, morbid curiosity persists - did you score it from the guy who trashed it, or from the friend who loaned it?

What's the status on the movement? I can't imagine that a near functional Rolex movement wouldn't be worth more than $600.

I hope you can use the dial as-is - great character and great story.

I may have missed it, but what happened to the bracelet? Does that still exist?

I am thinking the same. So many options.
