Strap ruler for TN

Post by toxicavenger » Thu Jul 07, 2016 10:58 pm

Check this out, Nick put together a cool TN strap ruler that is downloadable on my site so anyone can print it out at home. Super cool execution by Nick and I am really happy with it. It will also help out a ton newbies who aren't wis's.

Thanks Nick.

Cool idea. Based on some of the idiotic questions I read on WUS I'm surprised those same people can even tell time, much less put a strap on a watch. The KISS method is a good idea.

Hell I just want to make it easier for anyone, even if they don't buy anything from me.

Great Idea Terry!
For those of us to lazy to buy a mm ruler....
I have no idea how long a strap I should use.. I see 125/80 etc in listing and always's think, Hmm No idea if that would fit me, probably too short.
A cool addition would be a printable ruler to measure head and tail strap lengths..

So maybe just a regular generic metric ruler down the side of the page?

I'd seen one awhile back on some site I can't remember? You can cut it out and use it like a sewing tape measure.

Matt, honestly that was my first idea. My problem ended being investing more money in a product, then shipping it to a customer who would then use it. Now they can download one, print it out, and then they can order their straps within minutes. Also it wouldn't cost me a thing, except for time.

Great idea though. :salute: And thanks for the info.

A whole thread about a ruler and Terry and no wang jokes? Where's JP when you need him.

Also, this is a great idea for the business.

The measurement tool is 11 inches long, should be good enough for most - just careful about paper cuts.

this is what Terry has in mind..... PM Terry the lug width you need and also include the size of your crank... but no over stating and measuring under and past the scrot.

Also be sure to measure during normal activity. Not first thing in the morning or after a cold swim.
