Italian rubber strap and 2-piece Zulu's in

Post by toxicavenger » Sat Apr 23, 2016 2:01 pm

Hey guys I am trying a few more items to see how they work out. So I don't have much of them in stock but I get them from a US vendor so I can get more within a few days.

Right now I have some Bonetto Cinturini 285's in (waiting on the flat vent) and they are the 20-22mm. The Zulu's are 2-piece and the colors I have are sand, grey, orange, olive and black.

Great option for a rubber strap for those like me who can't stand holey ISO. Terry how long are the sides? Thanks

The 285 is my go to. I'm taking a trip to Venice soon and likely will throw mine on my Mako for beach use.

Yes! Glad to see you got the BCs. When you get the flat vents, I want one of each of the 285 and 284.

Actually guys right now I only have the regular wave in black. My US vendor is working to get the colored version and flat vent from BC but things haven't been going as smoothly as you would think considering they are a huge vendor for BC.

I tried to get some from a UK vendor and they said to give them 6 months before they would consider selling to me. I don't understand how some of these people stay in business when I have to fight to carry a product.

You guys will be the first one to hear if something happens though.

I can tell you this, that I am working my ass off to make this happen though. So if it doesn't happen then please don't think I didn't try.

There's a lot of demand for short length rubber straps. The offerings are few and far between, and not available besides black. I'd suggest looking into offering one.

Terry, any update on the 284?
Jacob I don't know how short you need it but most rubber straps are actually too short so I'm glad that this one is long.

It's the centering of the buckle. I can wear a regular tuna strap, but it would be better 2 inches shorter. The hirsch pure is offered in S/M/L but only in black and S and L can be hard to find.

Yeah that's spoiled
I can't loop most stock straps in the first keeper at the buckle

Damn do you want to be cuddled also?

Honestly I can't carry all of those to hope to make a sale every once in a while. I would go bankrupt holidng of that stock. Hell some dude asked me the other day if I can just carry a few different lengths of every nato strap I carry. You know how much stock that is? :crybaby: That is whack.

I can wear the new Tuna straps but not the old ones. They're the same length, but the older one has an extra vent, so I can't slide the keeper far enough to hold down the tail. I end up cutting off the end of the strap. That works, but throwing it on a BC works too. I don't really care if the buckle is centered.

When I made straps, I'd get bizarre requests for shit like pink alligator, and some people just didn't understand that I'd have to order an entire hide just to make their one bizarre strap. Some people actually got mad.
