Thoughts on labeling?
Okay here is a question for you guys since you all would know better than I would. Here is my deal, I hate freaking labeling on everything you buy these days, but sometimes it works if it is understated. For instance if the Kaenon sunglasses had a Michael Kors type of attitude on their products than the chances of me wearing them would be lower.
I do not think I will ever get the hardware on my straps labeled, I think it distracts from the watch you are wearing them on. If anything maybe on the back of the buckle but even then I am not sold on it. So the reason I am asking this is because a vendor offered to put my label on the ToxicTool (yes my wife might be jealous) and I am not sure I want to.
The whole Toxic thing is cool but like I said I don't want to be stupid with it (except for the names of the products ).
Let me know your thoughts on this.
Thanks guys

Re: Thoughts on labeling?
I see no issue with labeling the tool. It's free advertising. As for labeling of straps, I'd avoid it or do it in an inconspicuous way.

"ToxicNato" on back of buckle might be a good idea. Someone gets one of your straps with a purchase, likes it, wants to buy more but doesn't know which seller to contact.
Labeling on the ToxicTool seems like a win win for same reason.

Would I not buy it if it had branding, no. Would branding make me buy it, no....
but if given the choice, I wouldn't pay more for the branded tool over the way it is now if that makes sense.

Re: Thoughts on labeling?
The tool is an easy yes. The straps; ok if inside.
My Maratac NATO's had always been sterile, but recent ones have "Maratac ZULU" laser etched on the outside of the buckle. It's not noticeable unless you're looking, but I prefer a clean, logo free exterior.

Re: Thoughts on labeling?
I would vote for subtle/unobtrusive labeling. So the back of the buckle on the straps or similar. Not as PR so much as letting people know the origins of the strap/tool/etc. if they want to buy one. Otherwise someone might love the strap but have no idea where it came from or how to get another (if they forget or buy it 2nd hand).

+1 on unobtrusive/underside etc. I also tend to like a symbol vs a bunch of writing. Not sure if it would be too small to do, but in this case maybe the skull & straps?

If you can get the ToxicNATOs on the underside of the clasp, that would be a homerun

Can we get a Toxic logo branding iron, so we can brand our own junk?

I guess T- bone could just have the logo etched into a tooth crown, then he could bite down to brand things.gonzomantis wrote:Wow! You want to brand your junk with Terry's logo? Bold, dude.hoppyjr wrote:Can we get a Toxic logo branding iron, so we can brand our own junk?

You don't twerk very well, so that's not a viable option.toxicavenger wrote:Thats an idea, but what if I just put the branding on butt checks so when I am twerking on you I can brand you???hoppyjr wrote:I guess T- bone could just have the logo etched into a tooth crown, then he could bite down to brand things.gonzomantis wrote:Wow! Re: Thoughts on labeling?
Terry. The natos could be marked on the inside for ID purposes.
The tool can be branded.
But perhaps you can also brand some natos on the outside as well.
Buyers have different feelings and opinions on this. Then taxioNato
Can become some WIS cult following

Re: Thoughts on labeling?
I am also for branding the inside of the buckle. And branding the tool is a given as Hoppy said already..

Yes, you should brand them - I don't mind where - interior exterior sideways all good.
