Strap Question
Hey Bremonteers,
Question regarding using aftermarket straps on these watches. My Alt1-P came with a curved spring bar, do you just use those with other straps, or do you replace them with straight spring bars?? Is there enough clearance between the SB's and the case for most normal straps??

Re: Strap Question
Works perfectly fine with straight.

Re: Strap Question
I used curved bars with any thick leather strap that is difficult to fit to the lugs.
"We'd better synchronize our watches."
Re: Strap Question
I used straight with all my canvas. No issues.
Re: Strap Question
There are curved bars available, or just find something with the curve you need (such as a rock) and make a pair of curved bars. Press carefully with your thumbs and the bar will bend. Avoid edges so the bar doesn't crimp.

Re: Strap Question
Also used straight springbars when I owned my Supermarine.
Omega / Tudor / Rolex / Sinn / Doxa / Seiko
Re: Strap Question
Oops. Ok more relevant input then. Use the bars that work best with the strap. Some need the curved bars to fit or just to look right. Some don't. I made curved bars for a mesh that wouldn't fit on straight bars.Aaron Shapiro wrote:The watch comes with curved bars, im wondering if people use straight with aftermarket straps.HapaHapa wrote:There are curved bars available, or just find something with the curve you need (such as a rock) and make a pair of curved bars.
