New Bremont Military LE: USAF A-10 Warthog
Re: New Bremont Military LE: USAF A-10 Warthog
Decent watches, pleasant non-derivative styling, and outstanding customer service. What's not to like?
Re: New Bremont Military LE: USAF A-10 Warthog
If BJ's are included stay tuned for my sales posts, as I'll be an all-Bremont owner.Joeprez wrote:So, do you get BJ per watch owned, or one per day only?
Before I do that, can someone confirm the BJ's are from girls?
Re: New Bremont Military LE: USAF A-10 Warthog
I love this watch, but the Warthog is my all time favorite plane. I'd buy one in a second if I could.

Great looking watch. What is the emblem for?
The A-10 Thunderbolt Warthog.
Oh, are you an USAF pilot?
No, I just like the plane.
Oh, do you want to see my Mickey Mouse watch?

How is this different than a Comex-dialed Sub, or even a Milsub? These aren't available to the general public, except on the secondhand market. There's a lot to criticize with Bremont, but this is definitely not on that list.

Never owned one. I have had drinks with Nick English and Mike Pierson though. Great guys I'd be proud to buy a watch from.unixshrk wrote:Negative. Plane is coolCGSshorty wrote:Warthog fanboy? Guilty. Bought one to go with my Ferrari jacket, hat, pants, shoes and socks - I'm neither a pilot or a Ferrari drivermarchone wrote:Great looking watch. What is the emblem for?

How is a unit contacting Bremont and paying their own money to have a commemorative watch made anything like the military commissioned/issued mil-subs or the record setting Comex? When you juxtapose, it makes this current commemorative watch even more hollow. Even the 10,000 Speedmaster commemorative watches have more meaning.dukerules wrote:How is this different than a Comex-dialed Sub, or even a Milsub? This Bremont is much moe akin to that silly special forces DSSD that someone was trying to hock on the forums six months ago.

I find the Comex and Milsub less pretenious.JP Chestnut wrote:How is a unit contacting Bremont and paying their own money to have a commemorative watch made anything like the military commissioned/issued mil-subs or the record setting Comex? For me, it boils down to whether or not I would wear the same unit's tee-shirt in public...which I would not.

Who doesn't already know this? This isn't common knowledge? Bro, maybe go easy and sit out the Bremont threads for a spell. It's obvious they piss you off. Just don't look at this forum.JP Chestnut wrote:I'm not sure how everyone doesn't already know thisstreetracer101 wrote:The government doesn't buy them. Breitling has a similar program, but it isn't nearly as popular. I know this because I had a patient who organized watches from Bremont and Breitling for 2 of his squadrons.

This^^^^hey aren't the retiring this plane anyway???? Oh I like what I hear about what Bremont does CS wise but the whole LE shit is annoying. At least they aren't doing a Seals, RECON, Marine, SF bull crap.lilhoody wrote:For me, it boils down to whether or not I would wear the same unit's tee-shirt in public...which I would not.

So. Are these LE watches, or are they commissioned?
Re: New Bremont Military LE: USAF A-10 Warthog
One thing I never liked about the JLC NS line was the branding...I never got used to it. That said, I've owned two. The only reason I did/would was because the branding was hidden in the back.toxicavenger wrote:This^^^^hey aren't the retiring this plane anyway???? Similarly, I live the new Kobold Mil watch, but the MOS on the dial prevents me from having someone buy me one of grabbing one second hand, to wear.

Jacob, tell us about the time you first realized this deep seeded animosity for a brand that you perhaps haven't owned.....or if you have owned what issues lead you to this level of resentment for a brand.....im curious how they landed on your personal shit list. Most people I know that have owned one seem to have a different view.mattjmcd wrote:Who doesn't already know this? This isn't common knowledge?
