Kobold just repaired and returned my Soarway in two weeks. I'm pissed it broke in the first place but I can't complain about the service.
Damn you Bremont AND Kobold!

Good news, glad you have it back.
Kinda makes me wish I'd worn my Solo today actually ...

Another amazing aspect to this story is that FedEx estimated the delivery time to within two minutes; pretty amazing! The USPS can't even come close when delivering something across town.

The funny thing is that's not the first time I've heard of that happening with one of these.

They said it was a bad crown so I have no doubt there are others from the same batch that will break.

The Trip-Tick case is composed of three parts; the top case which holds the crystal, the barrel - DLC in the case of the ALT1-C, and the back. Since the lugs are part of the top case, they replaced that entire piece. It looks perfect, and I'm completely chuffed (as the Brits would say) to have it back!

Great profile shot, but you need a Maratac brand NATO with brushed stainless hardware. They are a perfect match for the Bremont case finishing.

Thanks for the tip, Ed! Do you have a source you can recommend? Worn and Wound (the only supplier I could find on the 'net) doesn't seem to carry the black/brushed NATO.

Mine didn't come with the nylon - just the black leather with white stitching. Mike Pearson gave me a vintage leather, and I bought a bracelet from Brice - so that's the lot for me.
WARNING: Wearing Bremont may make you talk/write like a Brit.

Wait, you couldn't find a nato supplier on the net?
Your googles are broken?
First, you could try ebay. Second,
http://www.gnomonwatches.com/ has a pretty good selection, shipping can take a bit though

Get the gnomon ones... My favorite natos and the hardware comes polished, brushed or black.

CountyComm
Maratac is high quality, stitched & heat welded, and softer than other brands. Best of the "cheap" natos.
