Bremont ALT1C Strap Change

Post by AntonioPD » Tue Sep 02, 2014 7:56 pm

Hey Guys,

Some of you know The Skirt and I radically downsized recently; we finally got everything moved into our new place yesterday and I had a spare moment to change straps on my ALT1-C.

It's hard to believe that I've had this outstanding watch for almost exactly a month; other than when swapping in my TSAR or G when moving furniture and boxes, it's been my "daily wear;" I may have to sell my other watches if this keeps up.

Anyway, I purchased it on the standard black leather with white stitching:

Mike Pearson kindly gave me a Bremont Vintage Black strap and I finally found time tonight to put it on. (Next up is the bracelet Brice sold me - stay tuned.)

These straps were surprisingly easy to change, and are extremely comfortable. As with everything Bremont, they epitomize quality - from the curved springbars to the supple lined leather. Impressive.

Let me know what you think!

That's nice Tony.

Although I would prefer the original.

Good option though. Maybe even a NATO...

Great looking Bremont and could do one-watch duty easily.

Great straps. Glad you're still enamored with it. Such a killer watch. So i take it you decided against the anthracite dial?

Oh, and Matt, can we penalize people for saying "the skirt".

Still love ya though tony. :)

When I first joined DWC someone referred to their SO as "The Skirt" in a post. As a FNG I thought that was how it's done here - but now it seems I'm about the only one still doing it so it's "my thing."

The Skirt and I decided we like black best - besides this is the watch from that fabled evening with Nick, Mike and the Sydels - so I really can't part with it!

Luvya2 David! :gayumbrella:

Stoked for ya that you were able to get it. I know you wanted it for a long time. Can't see you flipping it. Just try not to bust that crystal. ;)
