Bremont Customer Service - Perfection!

Post by mattcantwin » Wed Jul 16, 2014 4:35 am

Unfortunately, there is not a hell of a lot room for straps on the MBII...

Image

When I first put Drew's strap on the watch, I used a regular pair of spring bars and noticed the markings from
the barrel along the edge of the strap. I realized the spring bars on the OEM leather strap were curved and used them
to remount the strap. It is still a bit tight, but better.

I decided to buy another pair of curved bars and contacted Bremont CS to see if I could
coordinate the spring bar purchase with the mailing of the COSC certificate.

The response from Emma Smith, customer service manager is below:

Dear Matt,

Thank you for your email and congratulations on your Bremont purchase!

I would be happy to send the spring bars out in the post to you at no cost, please can you let me know of the most suitable address to send them to?

If you would like to speed up your registration process, you can send a scanned copy of the warranty card to register@bremont.com
with your contact details and I will be able to liaise with the registration team to send the spring bars with your COSC certificate.

Kind Regards,

Emma Smith
Customer Services Manager

That's just about perfect!

Some other companies (Doxa, Damasko, etc.) should take note on how to follow up after the purchase is made.

That's great. I think things will only get better once the NY office is fully operational. As of now it is just Mike and Carli.

I concur....I emailed them for a new screw for the supermarine bracelet and Emma responded very promptly. Great CS.

Plenty of clearance for NATO's on the Bremont

I do like their service. Hell, Richemont could stand to take lessons from the Brits!

I actually received some U1 bars from Sinn, also free of cost.

Hell I bought my watch secondhand and Emma got a copy of the cosc to me for free. I was going to and expected to pay for it. She also kindly swapped my rubber out for the new style one without hesitation.

And on to the happy ending:

Padded envelope arrived from Bremont today containing this:

COSC certificate, 2 pair curved spring bars (I asked for 1 pair) and a leather luggage ID tag.

The envelope also contained a brief handwritten note.

The bottom line - Bremont makes the customer feel appreciated, it's a very good feeling!

I wonder if they repair Damasko watches?

Bremont should move their CS people to PR.
